NOTICE OF BANK MERGER APPLICATION Notice is hereby given that application has been made by Georgia Banking Company, 1776 Peachtree Street NW, Suite 300, Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia 30309 to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation for approval of the merger of Peoples Bank & Trust, 1899 Buford Highway, Buford, Gwinnett County, Georgia 30518 into Georgia Banking Company. It is contemplated that all offices of the above-named institutions will continue to be operated. Any person wishing to comment on this application may file his or her comments in writing with the regional director of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation at the FDIC office located at 10 Tenth Street, NE, Suite 800, Atlanta, Georgia 30309-3906, or the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance, 2990 Brandywine Road, Suite 200, Atlanta, Georgia 30341-5565 not later than February 10, 2022.
