Notice is Hereby Given That Greyhound Lines, Inc

Notice is hereby given that Greyhound Lines, Inc. will provide an opportunity for a public hearing for the purpose of considering a grant for which federal operating assistance under Section 5311(f) of the Federal Transit Act, as amended, is being sought from the Georgia Department of Transportation. The hearing will be held if any person interested in a hearing submits a request in writing that a hearing be held to Greyhound Lines, Inc. within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice, or by September 26, 2025. If a request to appear or submit written or oral testimony is not received by close of business on September 26, 2025, the public hearing will not be held. If a request to appear or submit written or oral testimony is received by close of business on September 26, 2025, a second notice will be published seven (7) days before the date of the public hearing and include the date, time and location of the hearing. The project is generally described as follows: daily roundtrip service between Atlanta, GA and Tallahassee, FL with intermediate stops in Warner Robins, Fort Valley, Americus, Albany, Moultrie and Thomasville; daily roundtrip service between Atlanta, GA and Jacksonville, FL with intermediate stops in Warner Robins, Dublin, Statesboro, Savannah, Fleming and Brunswick; daily roundtrip service between Atlanta, GA and Jacksonville, FL with intermediate stops in La Grange, Columbus, Albany, Tifton, Valdosta and Waycross. If a hearing is requested and scheduled, Greyhound Lines, Inc. will afford an opportunity for interested persons, agencies and private transportation providers to be heard with respect to the application. Interested persons may submit orally or in writing evidence and recommendations with respect to the grant at the public hearing.
